Jeffrey Nemecek began his education when he received his Bachelor’s Degree from Hamilton College way back in 1970. That’s almost a half-century ago, and he followed that up in 1974 by earning his Juris Doctor Law Degree from theUniversity of Chicago Law School. He has been admitted to practice in five states so far, with the first bar admission happening in Alabama since 1975, New York since 1977, Minnesota since 1984, Florida in 1987 and New Jersey since 1989.
Overall, Jeffrey Nemecek has more than 30 years’ experience as an attorney, primarily in the areas of public and project financing. In addition, Jeffrey Nemecek also ran his own firm, the Law Offices of Jeffrey A. Nemecek, from 1992 through 1997. Over many years, Jeffrey Nemecek has worked with many prominent firms, again, primarily in their public financing practice. These days, he is an Of Counsel Attorney at Denton’s in New York City, where he primarily deals with the Puerto Rico fiscal crisis and debt restructuring. However, at various times, has also been Of Counsel and/or a Partner at Axiom Legal, from 2011-2016, Tillinghast Lichtenstein LLP from 2006-2008, and about a half dozen other prominent firms over the last few decades.
